Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Head of Go-to-Market Strategy to define and execute our market entry approach for our AI-powered mental health platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in healthcare marketing, strategic decision-making capabilities, and experience building go-to-market functions from the ground up in early-stage environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Define our optimal go-to-market strategy (B2C vs B2B2C) based on market analysis and competitive positioning
- Develop comprehensive market entry plans for the French and European markets
- Design and validate our customer acquisition strategy across multiple channels
- Create messaging and positioning frameworks that resonate with mental health consumers
- Build and lead cross-functional go-to-market initiatives involving product, sales, and marketing teams
- Establish key performance metrics and analytics frameworks for market success
- Design pricing and business model strategies that optimize for growth and sustainability
- Navigate regulatory requirements and compliance considerations for mental health marketing
- Build and scale the marketing team as we grow
Technical Requirements
- 8-12 years of marketing and business strategy experience with 3+ years in senior go-to-market roles
- Proven track record in healthcare, wellness, or mental health marketing
- Experience with both B2C consumer acquisition and B2B partnership strategies
- Deep understanding of European healthcare regulations and marketing compliance
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and competitive analysis
- Experience building go-to-market strategies at early-stage startups
- Track record of successful market entry and customer acquisition initiatives
Must-Have Qualities
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities
- Deep empathy and understanding of mental health consumer needs and barriers
- Ability to make data-driven decisions in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing teams
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to investors and stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in startup environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI/digital health technologies
- Knowledge of French healthcare ecosystem and key players
- Background in subscription or freemium business models
- Experience with clinical partnerships and healthcare professional relationships
- International market expansion experience
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
